color scheme

after a one-year hiatus from web development i've found time (or just convinced myself that i'll have the time) to get back in. i'm going to create a personal website, some of it business-related and some personal.

i'm interested to hear your ideas for a color scheme for the site. i'm not committed to any particular style or layout so any idea is welcome. if you've got a favorite color combo let me know.

That's great to hear! I was sad when your site went down and never came back up...

Anyway, I tend to find a good looking picture and choose a few colors from it and then convert them to their nearest web-safe counterpart. So that's an idea you could try. Doesn't work too well with all pictures but some that have some nice colors could work. I like contrasting colors. :)

It should have red, green and blue. If not that then cyan, magenta and yellow.
