I have a framed page, two columns. The top column contains the script to display the content of the bottom frame. When the window loads, the script writes a list of scholarships. I have embedded another script into the output of the second frame that displays a menu.
Under the Netscape browsers (7.0 Mac, 7.1 Windows) it works flawlessly. Under IE 5.2 for Mac OS X, it works fine, but the menu doesn't show up except when the framed page is initially loaded. But under IE 6.0.2800.1106 for Windows I enter the address and press enter, the window clears, and nothing else happens. The page doesn't load. IE does nothing else. The only thing that happens is that when I click the close button the system asks if I want to End Task, because it's not responding. So somehow I'm causing IE to hang from the beginning; something that doesn't happen in IE for Mac OS X or Netscape Communicator for Mac or Windows. Any guesses?
