Error writing HTML with Response.Write ..

Im not getting my synatx for my Response.Write correct...
Ive tried a few different ways but just not getting it and wondered if someone could guide me as to where im going wrong?


Response.Write ("<a href="" & galPic "" rel=""lightbox[slide]"" caption=""Test""></a>")

Response.Write ("<a href=""" & galPic & """ rel=""&lightbox[slide]&"" caption=""Test"">Test</a>")
