Hello,

I am trying to fix website problem, web site is managed by some kind of ASP CMS and my domain appear in following format www.domainame.com/brooksind/manu/ . I would like my home page to appear in this format - www.domainame.com. The index page is HTML and the following code appear :

<meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;URL=http://www.domainame.co.uk/brooksind/manu/">

After i remove this meta tag, my website is not loading. How can i fix it ?

King regards...

If I'm understanding this right, the <meta refresh> tag is on http://www.domainame.co.uk/brooksind/manu/, and you are redirecting it to itself... That will have no bearing at all on how the name is displayed.

The only ways to have "www.domainname.com" work is if a) you purchase said 'www.domainname.com' or b) URL cloak 'http://www.domainame.co.uk/brooksind/manu/' to be 'www.domainname.com' , and I'm not even sure what TLD services can be cloaked like that. The only URL cloaking I am familiar with would be http://domainname.cbj.net
