is there a way to detect whether the discussion toolbar in IE has been activated (is showing)? this is driving me batty! i've searched everywhere i can think of, and from the looks of things, it appears that i'm the only one who has asked this question! surely, this isn't the case!

it's only in IE 6 at this time. if you go to VIEW then EXPLORER BAR, at the bottom of the list is DISCUSS. when it's checked, it turns on the discussion toolbar in IE 6.

of course, it may be that it's chrome for IE 6...but surely, since it affects how some websites perform, it's not!
