Is there any way to retrieve the URL of a page in a frame?

I have an off domain page in a frame, is there any way to retrieve the URL? in any language? by any method? javascript? activex, java? anything at all would be great.

That seems crazy to me.
surely if the data is on somebodys computer, then it has to be accessible somewhere by some client side script?
