On my site I have a page that users can link to along with a querystring with a unique ID in, e.g. www.mysite.com/page.php?id=12345678.
Now presumably if someone puts that link on their page, Google will pass along part of their page's PageRank. My question is - does the base URL www.mysite.com/page.php gain any PageRank from this, or is it just the URL with the unique ID in it?
Furthermore, would my site as a whole (www.mysite.com) get any PR passed to it?
Thanks,
Pete
