This may be dumber than dirt, but I can't seem to find anything that leads me to an example, or there are just so many when I search I am not narrowing it down enough to get the job done.

I am a seasoned computer junkie, but a very rookie web-master. I want to add code to my e-commerce web-site (hosted on "bCentral" - so I have FrontPage extensions) that allows a visitor to send out a "you need to see this!" message to their friends.

I've looked at several different FORM-based code examples, but none I have found really fits what I want to do - and I've seen web-sites that can do this without the user popping up their default mail program to do the task.

Any pointers - either way - I'm just looking for a simple solution...

Well, I figured out how to send a URL (of any page, not just the current one, using HTML <FORM> only - no perl script), but I was thinking along the lines I've seen of pages that let you send a fancy HTML-formatted (canned?) 'promo' add to the e-mail address of the visitor's choice.

I get stuck in the semantics of the JavaScript I need to execute.

Thanks, though. BTW - the site says that the "SENDER.TXT" file you are supposed to save as SENDER.PL does not exist. (??)
