Expression Web / Not Updating Template Pages

I have a site I'm developing in Expression Web. I have a number of Dynamic Web Templates attached to pages. When I open Expression Web on any given day and make a change to one of the templates, none of the underlying pages are updated (even if I go to Format->DWT->Update All Pages). If I open a page that has the changed template attached and do it again, it updates. So, it looks like Expression loses the template association until I open a dependent page on a given day, then the relationship is re-established.

This is a real pain. What am I doing wrong?
