I need to develop a product catalog for my company that can:
1. be distributed as a .pdf, and
2. be accessed through our web site, either as html (preferable) or a link to the .pdf

Our product line is pretty extensive, and growing, so it would be nice to incorporate features like search (no e-commerce at this point). From what I have read assembling this with ASP seems out of the question. Any suggestions?

If you ditch the pdf asp would be fine, the problem is if you do it in a pdf you are going to have to maintain it all by hand and also online ordering would be more of a pain in the butt. I would say ditch the pdf but thats just me opinion.

I notice people come here, ask a quest, then you never see them again. not even so much as a thank you. its weird.

No, Sux0rZh@jc0rz, as a matter of fact I had not checked back yet. I was NOT being rude, I was in a meeting! Maybe it is because of members like you that so many people never return.

Thank you, PeOfEo, for your advice.

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out. Up until a few months ago I only did the design of the web sites, now I'm doing both so I'm a bit new to the tech side of things.
