I hate them!!!!!

I'm going to vent.

The further I go with web development, the more I realize that half the development firms out here are swindling people's hard earned money. How can a business starting out make money if you're robbing them right off the bat?

Just because people are unaware of how to do something does'nt mean we can rob them. I was looking all over the web at my competitors prices and it's rediculous. I'm putting all of you charging too much out of work. You don't deserve to exist anymore.

Most firms had making a custom, unique, secure site starting at $XXXX. Are you kidding me? I can make a site like that in one day, if it has no dynamics. Should we be allowed to make $XXXX a day.

And to add to the pile of doo-doo, the site they represent themselves with looks like crap. How can you charge someone $XXXX for a non-dynamic(no database site) when yours look like poop. And more crap is all of the keywords they use to sucker people in, even though they can't do that crap.

I hate them, I hate them, I will undercut everyone. Ahhhhhh, that feels so much better to express it in public. Yes I'm warped.

Well, that's an idealist's view of it. But, really, it happens in every profession. (Insert any experience with a construction contractor here. ;)) It's up to the consumer to research pricing and do reference checks. Most times, they don't. That's how rip-offs happen.
