Hello all-

I want to create a website and I'm having some trouble with the background image. I'm using Dreamweaver (not so good to code myself). I'm not a noobie, I've created some websites w/ flash in the past. However, I've never been able to achieve something like the following on a website:

http://www.dizzain.com/

If you check out the site, the background image (at the top) changes size to different resolutions. Does anyone know how I could achieve something like that?

Or possibly something like this:

If you notice, the background image has a spotlight effect on it where the middle is lighter.

CAn anyone give me any insight on how to create something like this?

Thanks!

Your question is a bit vague, but the first part answer is, "fluid design". The images are static, but the container is 'fluid' (expressed in a percentage of the desired width to be shown), -it expands/contracts a bit to accomodate different screen-widths.
I do note that with greatly reduced screen-width that the text 'disappears' entirely... that's not so good...

The second question: a graphic editing program like "PhotoShop", "PaintPro" or "The GIMP" to name three, -and some graphics manipulation.
