resizable site without distortion

:mad: Hi everyone,
I am trying to make my site resizable so when the user clicks ctrl and scroll in or out (zoon in/out) the site is resized but not destorted, the images gets resizable as well as text and everything else in proportion.
please see this example to underdstand better what i am looking for www.ikea.it (usigng both ie and modzilla)
for a prove that it doesnot depends on the browser , please check www.fundstore.it with firefox.

any ideas ?? i m not so good with css but i am a fast learner.

If I am having trouble seeing text, and want to make the text bigger to make it easier to read, I certainly don't want images larger and I certainly don't want horizontal scrolling - I find the action of the Ikea site rather annoying. To do this effect, they have all the images in the html, which is not where they belong. The site also causes Firefox to freeze moving off the tab.
