Okay, here's the deal: I'm trying to figure out why this game of mine can't be played in my computer. It has something to do with the Video card or DirectX graphics adapter or something.

Basically, to make a long story short, I (snooping and fidgeting around, of course) managed to change my NVidia Quadro refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz. Now my computer monitor is blank: shows absolutely nothing, except for the ever-so annoying words "Video cannot be displayed" (or something else along those lines...). I can't even se my desktop anymore! I need to get the image on my monitor working again!

I'm running Windows XP on Dell Precision 380, if that's of any importance.

Please, could somebody help me? The truth is the computer is mine, but I have a sense my brother will kill me when he finds out, as it is a computer he uses as well. ANY help will be HIGHLY appreciated!
Thanks!

start your computer up. after the bios screen, keep tapping F8. youll get the windows startup modes screen. select VGA mode and you should be able to reset your refresh rate.

aaron's suggestions will work. If however it doesn't unplug your monitor from the graphics card, unplug your graphics card and plug the VGA into the motherboard instead. Then you can change your settings and try it again.
