I'm not sure what this is going to end up as. I want it to be either a simple web outliner, a webpage content organizer, or some sort of family tree organizer.

Any ideas on improvement?

Thanks!

Do you have a test account that reviewers can use to access your program?
Else, very few people here are going to register to review your website. ;)

I did mean to dumb down the registration a bit, and only ask for username, password, and e-mail. So I went ahead and adjusted that. However, if you would like to use a test account, try this:

Username: tester
Password: tester

Enjoy!

is this login page the homepage? i don't get it - do you want people to register without telling them what it is? you need to explain somehow what this site does.... but I guess that you're not sure of that right now.

Yeah, it's more of a AJAX development project that I plan on integrating into websites. This site is just the development area.

You log in, and try to use the product for now.

You create items, and when you click on an item, you can add children to it. You can add children to the children, so on and so on.

oh, gotcha - it makes a little more sense now...

to improve it - maybe a better logo and tag line ("A better way to make things" is a little broad)...

and when you try to close a 'top level item', it get's a little buggy. I had three that I created, and closed one, but the other two doubled (see screenshot)... another time, it look a little while to close, so I clicked it again, and it closed two of the boxes.

i like that it supports HTML... that's nice.

it's a nice project... you can make it look a little more snazzy, and work out a few bugs and it'll be perfect.

Ah, haven't seen that bug myself yet so it's good to find it out.

I am very happy that you went as far as making screen shot.

Did you by chance get to use the outline view?

I think this would make a very good webpage content creater, helping to create a directory structured website in a short amount of time. That may be the best use for it.

I just keep thinking that I'm sure someone has something even better made from javascript, that expands and everything all from one page.

I also am intersted in using keyboard shortcuts for common actions. Simple things like adding. Maybe Shift + A would automatically bring up the add dialog.

I personally hate switching between mouse and keyboard.
