OctoberWind 01-09-2008, 04:49 PM Transparent? as in, 'remove the background'? jrthor2 01-09-2008, 06:47 PM right, remove the background. Can someone help? Hazit 01-09-2008, 09:12 PM This is about the best you're going to get considering the quality. Hope it helps Major Payne 01-10-2008, 12:28 AM Use the free online tool at GifWorks.com (http://www.gifworks.com/image_editor.html) to edit your image after you convert it to a gif. (GIFs only). You can do/undo till you have it the way you want it. Original is really poor quality. Ron Major Payne 01-10-2008, 01:38 AM Had to try my hand at it. :p Touched up color/brightness/contrast. Hope these are accessible as server seems to be denying access sometimes. Ron Jick 01-10-2008, 02:34 AM ... server seems to be denying access sometimes.Indeed it is. :( Major Payne 01-10-2008, 04:03 AM Just spent about an hour arguing with my host. I gave them the same links and they were able to access the files. Just can't access files from webdeveloper.com. Wonder if my other links from this forum are still ok? Anyway to check? I looked to see if this IP was banned, but isn't. Will have to pick it up later via telephone. Ron Jick 01-10-2008, 04:30 AM Oh, that's weird... I just typed the image location in directly, rather than clicking the link from here, and it works. I guess they're right. How odd though... Major Payne 01-10-2008, 04:59 AM It is weird. I can get to the images, too, by right-clicking on one of the link and select Copy Link Location, then drop it into browser. Must be the http referer from this site that is being passed to server that triggers the error. Ron webdeveloper.com
