i'm pretty sure that nothing is allowed in the head tag - i've never seen this before, what's it supposed to do?
and:

are you sure you meant to close this there? No plain text is allowed in the head.
if you look at the page in Firefox, the header is messed up, and the footer is shifted to the right a few px.
the layout is really nice, and clean with good use of whitespace, but i'm not sure how i feel about the banner... it's a little blurry and I don't get the "Pests: annoyance, badgerer, etc..."
overall, it's a really nice site though - good job with it.

I wasn't familiar with profile attribute either but it seems to be valid.
