NogDog 01-14-2008, 02:02 AM What little bit I've read about it seems to indicate that at the top end, you probably get more value from Intel both in terms of processing performance and power consumption, but at the low to mid range just pick whichever one you can get the best deal on at the moment. But I'm no expert on this, and if I were going to spend my money on it, I'd try to find a number of comparison articles in recent issues of respected magazines. wamboid 01-14-2008, 10:19 AM Currently, I think NogDog's analysis is correct. This market tends to change quite often, so finding recent comparisons is important. EricG1793 01-22-2008, 12:14 PM There's already and AMD vs Intel thread. It's a good idea to search for threads that already exist before you post a new one... very soon a moderator will come and close this one. You can check that other one out; It's even in a poll form. :D Here's the link: http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147563 I remember I was having some issue with someone in that thread... please excuse that. I have a lot more forum experience now, and I won't let that happen again. webdeveloper.com
