you might get more responses if you just made a form on your website for people to fill out.

I agree. Or else just take what you get here and fit it into your survey. Most people here work full-time so they don't have time for surveys, just opinions.

"No changes are to be directly made by the intern to The Highlands actual website."

I can't post anything on the website unfortunately :-\

Yeah any feedback would be appreciated. The survey is just what I have created to distribute at school and what not.

i agree with them - i'm not gonna fill out any surveys, but i will comment on the site...

on the home page, i think that:
Telephone:
1-800-446-0119 or 1-610-775-2300
Fax:
1-610-775-9851
Address:
The Highlands at Wyomissing
2000 Cambridge Avenue
Wyomissing, PA 19610-2714
USA
E-mail:

this information is a little 'squished', and the things under email don't line up correctly.

this line at the bottom is unnecessary:
URL: http://www.thehighlands.org/

and i'm not sure about the navigation changing - jumping to the bottom when you leave the home page.

there seem to be hidden pages - like, I ended up in "Nursing Care" somehow - i think through your Contact page, and when i left that page, and tried to find it in the normal navigation, it took me 10 mins to find again.

minus those few things, it's a pretty nice looking site, with good use of whitespace and [fairly] nice navigation...

however, you are missing a doctype (http://www.alistapart.com/stories/doctype/) (you need this) and you're missing a valid character encoding statement (put this in the <head>):
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

then, go and validate your html (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thehighlands.org%2F) and fix up the errors I'm sure you'll find (like unclosed tags).

Your review was very helpful. All feedback will be documented and sent directly to the webmaster of the website. Any and all feedback is welcome.

I apologize for the survey. I have never posted on a site like this before.

not a problem...

it's just that a lot of people here are busy, or even at work (like myself) - so the time that i spend on this forum is to just ask or answer a few quick questions, and get back to what I'm doing at my job.

a lot of people ask if someone can make them a site (usually for a class project), and they blatantly ask for us to do their work. most of us don't have time for that, and i'm sure that's understandable. (PS - you're request, i think, was a LOT more valid than "can you do my work for me?")

anyway, glad that helped, and good luck with it...
