Shopping Cart

What is the simplest way to make a shopping cart?

I have no idea how to design and make a shopping cart so any advice would be great?

I use PayPal, but it'd be great if I knew how to do that.

I've heard of some people using oscommerce (http://www.oscommerce.com/), a free opensource shopping cart.

I figured out how to put a Paypal shopping cart on my personal site. After I did it once it was REALLY EASY"

1. Sign onto your paypal
2. then put in the search Paypal Shopping Cart
3. Click on the first one that says: Paypal Shopping Cart-PayPal
4. Click on "Get Started! Use this feature now. Do what it says and your done. You have to have a Premier or Business account to use it though, but that's not a big deal, they charge you when you sell something, cost nothing otherwise. You can also go to Google and they have one also. No cost only when you sell something, just like if you were using ebay. I may not have discribed this very well as you can't copy anything off the site, it's private. Good Luck, Classieladiee:;)

I'll have a little try at oscommerce see how far I get.

As for PayPal thats what I currently use. There is an extremely easy way to place paypal buttons on website with dreamweaver.

Let me know how it goes with osCommerce! I use the paypal adobe extention in dreamweaver. Is that what you are talking about?

Dreamweaver is probably great "IF YOU HAVE IT" I just gave a free way to put it up without having to buy a program. But, wish I did have Dreamweaver. Classieladiee

hey laciemn I will let you know how I get on with oscommerce and hopfully if I work it out I may even be to help you out aswel. Yeah I use the PayPal add on with dreamweaver.

Classieladiee I would suggest you get dreamweaver as its an excellent program.
