A little background. I am the Webmaster of a Guild, for a game called Ultima Online. I took the position with just the basic knowledge I learned from reading HTML Goodies, and a few other books.

This is the page im having a problem with:

What im trying to do is get an email with their order send to my email address, and CC to another. That part I have handled, without any problems.

My problem is when I receive the email, it comes as one line, no breaks, and no returns. This makes it extreemly difficult to view what people are trying to order.

Is there a command I can place inside the:
<input type="text" name="GreaterHealKeg" size="2">
That will make it return when I get the email, and then have the next item on the next line?

... Should I just delete the page and write something else? Is there something easier to write this with? Sorry for the silly questions, but I still only have a basic education on this, and still do not know how to write scripts that may make this easier.

I am currently using Frontpage 2002 (only because a co-worker gave it to me, previously I was writing everything with Notepad... :rolleyes:

may i suggest if your using frontpage 2002 open your page select all on the html page and paste this

it is practically the same as yours apart from it is all returned, sends to both email address with subject My Order Form

dont just try and copy a bit that you havnt got because i have made a few tweaks elsewhere which you may not see, dont mean to be funny lol

Outstanding!

I get home in about 30 minutes, and I will try it then.

The other thing I wanted to do, if this is even possible. Where you see the Pull down menu, of possible Suppliers.

I would like the Supplier that gets highlighted to also receive a CC of the Email. That way I dont have to look up who was selected, then forward the email to them.

(incase im not online for a day or two)

firstly i dotn know what command at the top your on about, when i viewed source on your page it was not like the other code

starting with your oringinal code add this at the top in frontpage add this to where the from starts put webbot on one line tho

Wierd, when I open it up in Frontpage, it looks like you wrote it here, but when I view Source, it looks... Jumbled and crazy.

All I did was copy and Paist, then upload.

I'll try writing it in Notepad here then emailing it home.

Also when I tryed it again, it sends me to this link.

easier way open a new page in frontpage, insert a form go to form properties on the option send to file name if you want to save it to a file on the server and type in the two email address in the email address box then go options still in form properties then saved fields save all, now make an oneline box and type something in it and submit it, this should work, after tested just copy and page the bits of the page you want on to it
