I have a question regarding a webpage I've developed.
It appears the webpage is hanging on a large video which is an FLV (progressive .swf). The page loads but a portion up at the top header does not load very quickly. The portion at the top is a background CSS with type over it.
I believe the culprit is the bottom video which is fairly large (45 minutes). You can compare the problematic page with a pages that does not have the large video. Make sure you clean your cache to get the proper load effect.
slow loading page: http://www.sardismedia.com/vci/dv2/
fast loading page minus the bottom video: http://www.sardismedia.com/vci/dv2/1.html
I'm wondering if this has to due to the server being set up to stream flash. Or may it be something else. Is there anyway to have the videos load last so the page loads then the videos. Or is there something else.
Thanks in advance for any help
