I found a great open-source, easy-to-use and effective registry cleaner, at:
eusing(dot)com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner(dot)htm
I have & use several 'paid for' registry cleaners and even then, this found 725 things it deemed fix-worthy. Granted, some of these registry values will return on the next 'surf' and that cannot be avoided, but what it removed ...I am amazed! Things I used & deleted MONTHS ago (and missed by another reg-cleaner product), this cleaned up.
This is FREEware, but donation-supported.
