I am starting a project - I have a website in mind where users will build a profile and post their music for other users to rate, listen, comment. I am open to all ideas-I'm just trying to figure out how best to start. This is for a specific community of people and would be something more along the lines of an acidplanet than a myspace type project.
I am wondering about places I can purchase such a module to configure as well as the option to build out from a CMS. I have experience in intermediate HTML, CSS, and a bit of PHP.
I am open to learning as I go along but just wanted to see if someone has this kind of experience and knows what the best backend would be. Thanks for any help and constructive advice in advance.
