Outsourcing

Hello all,

I've decided to outsource a few of my firm's projects, and have found a good web developer. My question is... before the site is finally launched... who gets the footer link at the bottom of the web pages... would he get the credit, or would my firm get the credit? Could we do something where both of us gets the credit? (I'm talking about the "site designed by -------" link at the bottom of the page.) I would like for my company to be mentioned, since after all, it was my client originally.

Developers really have no "right" to their name being included at all (unless it's in the contract)

This decision would be up to your/his client.

Did you also realize that the client is "outsourcing" to you, he could always hire staff and do it in house just like you could.

The client pays so the decision is ultimately his.
