Dear All,
Some time ago I asked for some thoughts and opinions on my website. It's not the most technically advanced site on the net, but it's designed to do its job (its free to use and it loads quickly etc).
I wondered if anyone could spare a few moments to have a quick look through and see what you think. The URL is: http://www.kontours.info
Many thanks for your help and suggestions in advance!

the layout is a little 'thin' for a site that can offer so much information. the main content takes up about 1/3 of my screen, which seem a little insignificant to be the 'main content'. another 1/3 to 1/2 of the screen is Sponsored Links and Google/Firefox propaganda.
width=800 is really thin for a site that only uses 1/2 of it for content. maybe you should consider using a fluid width (a percentage).
I adislike seeing the google ads at the bottom of the main content - I thought that's what you had the left side of the site for. too many ads are no good.
on the main page, that yellow block seems to come from nowhere. are you sure you want it to be yellow?
the main navigation links (home, destinations, pictures, etc.) seem a little insignificant, and should probably pop out more (be more noticeable).
and the only other thing that I got is that when you first go on the site, it's not obvious that it's a travel research site. maybe some 'travel graphics' on the main page, or in the header or something - something that says "this is a travel site..."
Oh - and you should also consider adding a doctype (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/doctype/) (this should be the first thing seen in the code of EVERY site)
I didn't mean to tear the site apart - it's a nice looking layout, and it's headed in the right direction. a few tweaks and the site could be great.
