I use the SEOquake toolbar for FF, and I just noticed that their keyword density tool's URL is chrome://seoquake/content/plugins/density/density.html?id=0.
I've never seen this before, so I'm just curious... anyone know what this is?

It refers to the path relative to the installation. So the plugin has a custom HTML page that is stored in your Firefox folder that it accesses. For a neat trick, try going to the following URL (firefox users only!) chrome://browser/content/browser.xul

wow - that's strange...
so, the file is only accessible locally, chrome:// isn't an acceptable protocol online i guess (if i understand this correctly)
I've never seen this before, so thanks for clearing it up TJ111.

Another one you'll find interesting in FF: "about:config"

about:config is very useful for tweaking every little detail in FF (and possibly screwing things up). A semi-creepy one - "about:mozilla" .

Strange. The chrome link you gave does absolutely nothing for me. It doesn't even try to open anything.

You have to type (or copy/paste) it into the address bar; you cannot just click it. (As to what purpose it serves...beats me.)

i don't even want to mess with about:config - there's way too much to screw up...
and, agreed - about:mozilla is really creepy. very strange.

Ah. That would explain it. Looks like this chimp needs more training. :D
