detecting plug in.... IE issues

Hey all,

I am trying to write a script that will detect which plug ins a user has, and possibly what version they are (i.e. Flash Player 6).

I have read up on a method that uses the navigator.plugin to determine this, and it looks like this will work in NN, and in IEMac. It sounds like this will NOT work in IE PC though.

Any ideas?
