This site is almost ready to go live. Probably in a week or so when the business owner gets the content that we need, other than that, it's pretty polished with all the design issues taken care of.

I'd love to get the real critiques from here. One thing that bothers me is that it's a bit slow loading due to the massive header png (>500Kb). If anybody has any suggestions/comments on that, then let me know. Also let me know what you think of the photo rating/commenting system (feel free to use it, this is just a demo for now). Thanks.

the site's really nice.

as for the header image, why does it have to be transparent? can't you just do it with the gradient blue background? that way, you can save it as a .jpg, allowing for much better compression...

and the photo commenting is nice, but i don't like that you have no enter your email address... i think you'll lose a lot of potential comments because of this.

I left a comment to test it - but normally, as soon as I saw "enter your email", i'd reconsider and probably not leave one.... I (as most people do) hate giving out my email address.

I think that your paragraphs can use more spacing - maybe a little more bottom padding. they're not separated enough.

Other than those small things, it looks pretty nice. Nice and clean code too.
