Hi, i have just started to use illustrator to create vector graphics.

I have created a logo 400 x 300. Now i need to get a 2400 x 1800 version of this logo. How do i do that correctly.

Also, when starting a new logo, what is the best dimension to start with (i started with 400 x 300) or does it matter what size you start with, and said previously, what is the best way of increasing the size of your logo

If it is all vector than you can just stretch it. What do you need it bigger for? Just save it as an eps.

Like bathurst_guy said, stretch it (or scale it if you must be precise) if it’s just a vector. As far as the best size goes, that really doesn’t matter unless you are bringing in images of some type. Then I like to work at double the expected finished size (5 X 7 for a 2 ½ X 3 ½ for example). That way I can always scale down with little loss. But you can rarely scale up a bitmap image without degradation.
