pull down menu is toooo long

I have a pull down menu that has really long items in it. I'm talking sentences. Is there a way to have the text wrap instead of going across the whole screen?

What if I put </br> in the fields of the database?

Why would you have such long options? You can truncate them.

Instead of:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean augue. Cras felis leo, tempus.

just show:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer ...

str = "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean augue. Cras felis leo, tempus"

str = Left(str.40)&".." 'OR WHATEVER LENGTH

My boss wants the full text, but wrapped into a pull down that is around 300px width
