No matter what I try I can not get my website to center.

Well almost... <table><tr><td align='center'> works but I would call this just giving up instead of figuring it out.

I have tried to use <div align='center'> but then everything in the container is centered reguardless of additional <div> tag aligns.

What do you think I should do?

Thanks in advance.

Wrap the entire site in a container div, set the width and use auto side margins. Css of wrapper div :#wrapper {
width: width here in px, % or ems;
margin: 0 auto;
}Note that this will only work if you have a complete and valid doctype at the start of the page (which you should).

Since when is a standards mode-triggering doctype compatible with <font size="2">?

@Robert: you are using ancient techniques. And judging from the construction of your layout and a few more things, you seem to have little knowledge of how to build a professional looking site. While your site is supposed to generate new clients, isn't it? Are you sure you want to do this yourself?

I'll be happy to help you, but it is gonna take a lot of time before you will be able to build such a site. Do you have that time? Otherwise, I would suggest to see if someone (in your town) can do it for you. It may save you a whole lot of energy, too.

Let me know.

The OP did not indicate that the site in question was the one in his sig, so I did not even look at it.

Well.... Frank62.... your job as a mind reader, fortune teller and overall nice guy is not going so well. First of all, the site you visited is not the site in question, second the site you did visit is working just fine and does not need updating because it’s just a way for my existing customers to email me Third…Why don’t you just stick to the original question, as I notice you didn't seem to have a better answer... just a big mouth.

Well.... Robert.... I wonder for whom a job as overall nice guy will go well, having you as inquirer.

And I wonder what your potential customers will think when they type in your name in Google and end up on this thread.

On second thought, I don't wonder. I know: what an a.....e!!
