Hi,
I have posted my site on these forums several times now. I am hoping this is the last, at least until a redesign. I would like all the help i could get on design. my homepage text is mostly just filler text so i know it probably doesn't sound good. but mostly i would like constructive criticism on the design. and also my portfolio page and banner need some work.
any suggestions?

Clean, crisp, lite. Loads fast. Validates with TIDY. Looks the same for IE as Firefox.
As it is a web-design site I'd want to have this:, if you 'turn off images', that image box on the right disappears and leaves your WHITE TEXT on a WHITE BACKGROUND... effectively making it visually invisible. If your client/s know about this and don't see you using it on your promotional site, -they might get the notion that you will neglect theirs as well..
Attached: images DISABLED view of your page, with 'invisible text' highlighted...
Solution: for that image, give it a contrasting background color, like "...background-color:black; color:white;...". If the image is present and showing, the background-color will be occluded by the IMG and won't show. If the image is missing or I have it 'turned off' on my browser, I get a 'black background with white-foreground-text' instead... still emminantly readable.
If you ran your site thru the W3C-Validator, this issue would come up with Accessibility s. 508 for the disabled, about 'foreground-color' and 'background-color' not being different enough.
Typically, you want about "100 points in hex" in dfference in between foreground("text") and background-colors to be a wide enough variance to also deal with the specifics of color-blindness (like, greens on blues, etc).
Also, -is there no alt="alternate descriptions" and title="more text descriptions" text? I didn't check, but nothing 'came up' when I was mousing-over things... If I were blind, -these elements would be, well, absent from my ability to read/hear them..
But all-in-all, -you have done an excellent job here with this! Enthusiastic cheers on you! :)
