I like the visual aspect of the screen with the server's files on one side and my machine's files on the other. OR, if you want to be sure you're keeping your local files and uploaded files synchronized, check out Beyond Compare (www.scootersoftware.com). It's especially nice for web development because you can always be sure you're updated locally and on your server.
