Dropdown menus without javascript

It is possible to create drop down menus whith pure css code for all browsers

not for IE, but for all other browsers. Google the suckerfish dropdown.

You can, as Stu Nicholls has demenstrated (http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/dd_valid.html), but his method uses llegally nested tables inside conditional comments to make it work in IE6 - very ugly coding and easy to stuff up if you are not careful. As scragar has said, the suckerfish method (http://www.htmldog.com/articles/suckerfish/) seems to be the best and only uses javascript as a helper for IE6.
