In my email "SENT FOLDER", (email I have previously sent) if I click on a link such as <a href="http://www..........."></a> , I get taken to a page that doesn't have anything to do with the page it should be taking me to? I get taken to a page totally different than what is expected. Any ideas?

The 'sent' e-mail, -is the URL a trusted site? You know what I mean... it's a safe/secure site? Like, -I'd trust this site, for example. I know what it is.
Is the re-directed site trustworthy? Or, is it marketing/spam-esque site? This vaguely sounds like a virus but I'm just overly paranoid about such things. That is involves yours e-mail program sort~of strenthens my concerns... (address book/e-mail lists are the prime target of malware/spyware/spamware, etc)..

Like this: http://www.google.com (http://www.yahoo.com)
Which could be in your email, as easily as in this site...

It is only when I click on the link when it is in my SENT FOLDERS that it takes me to this page: http://www.pixyland.org/peterpan/
This is the link that I click: <a href="http://www.GetRef.com/index.asp?id=GLENPRO"><img border="0" src=" http://www.GetRef.com/img/banners/getref11.jpg"></a>
that is supposed to take me to: http://www.GetRef.com/index.asp?id=GLENPRO
I did this link for a friend. When the link is placed on a webpage and clicked, it goes directly to my friend's getref page like it should, but in my SENT FOLDER...to PeterPan in Pixyland...whoever that is?

IP traces to Orem, Utah USA. I think the little tart has hijacked your site with malware, redirecting traffic his way. You might want to check with the owners of the desired site, to see what their traffic is... this isn't right.

in outlook, you can view the source of messages. right click on whitespace in a message and click "view source". this may apply to other email clients. and it is likely (unless theres a lot of ajax involved) that you can see the source of this particular "sent item"
what im getting at is for you to look at the source of the message. is the link called "getref..." but the HREF is actually to that peterpan site?
