Im not even sure if this the the right place, but I am looking for some tips/references on how to build the follow.
A COM object (dll) that can be run on any IIS Computer and reference on there server side. This will then allow the object to interact with my server, and submit and receive data on a seperate port.
Im not sure if that makes sense, but it is all good in my head. I am guessing I will need two peices of code, on for the client machine submitting details to me, and another for my server to be scanning that port and receiving the details.
Any direction would be helpful.
Cheers,
Vanny
