Hello to everyone here, i already posted this same question in another forum and i swear is not spam :), is just a post asking for some suggestions from friendly designers or developers, and hopefully i will have some answers or at least one here, thank you very much in advance.

I am .Net programmer, i know how to build local windows applications, and lately i have been involved into a few website projects ussing asp.net technologies, which i was trained for as well, this past projects worked in an intranet environment, and really the layout look wasn't that important for them so i ended up ussing the visual studio 2005 environment which i consider not friendly/easy/versatile/flexible for the layout design, since this is my very first "open" website i would like to know which tool would allow me to make a better good looking layout for each page in short time being able to after the layout design is finished, import the whole set of designed pages and code each of them without any problem of compatibility either on visual studio 2005/2008, keeping the look and feel of each of them as well as the added webpage objects functionality intact. For example i know about dreamweaver 8, but is it really the best option?, and would it really be compatible enough to allow me design and export to start coding easy enough?. I have knowledge on html, css and javascript btw.

If you guys have any suggestions, would you mind to give me tutorial references if its possible, maybe you know about good ones that could help me in the mission.

Thank you very much for your help is greatly appreciated, have a good day.
