Which image program would you recommend?
I have both, but which would be better to learn more about?

Photoshop Pwns!

Seriously, it is the most powerful and best image editing software I've ever used. I completely recommend it over any other image editing software! :D

I have Photoshop and have never used Paint Shop. Photoshop is just awesome!! Learning all you can do with it is a neverending process....

You can make complete animated movies such as any made by Pixar for Disney to animated gifs and the plug-ins that can be used in conjunction with it make the possibilities limitless.

The limit is the resolution of your computer's screen. :D

I would add ram and scratch disk size to that as well for limitations.

I have 20gigs of scratch disk and 800+mb of ram

Meh, computer specs... I'm on a crappy laptop, Windows ME, Intel Celeron processor at 500MHz, 328 MB of RAM, and I just upgraded the hard drive to 20GB, but it was only 6MB. :eek:

Ive had both PSP7 and PShop 7, I still have PShop 7, any questions? :)

Photoshop is a much more powerful peice of software in my opinion. The possibiliteis are crazy with it. Sure PSP7 is good, but PShop easily takes the cake IMO.

It might sound naive to some, but you get what you pay for. It's as easy as that. Photoshop is miles away from Paint Shop Pro, but if you are short of cash, you won't go wrong with PSP7 as it has all the needed tools for a great variety of graphic design jobs. But I have to admit that after buying Photoshop the money invested came back much more quickly than I thought.

Those who don't pay for software plese don't say anything, I always prefer not to eat for a week and buy some software, The constant upgrades and support are very very welcome to me.
