it's pretty cool.
I wouldn't show this to Morgan Stanley if I were applying for a job - but it's a pretty cool site if you're trying to be a skateboard or rock group artist - and I mean that in a good way.
really cool graphics and effects. it's a very well done flash site.
the only thing i don't like is how small it is - but I got used to it as I browsed the site.
cool stuff...

thanks mate,
im straight out of college, and had no industry experience, so i really just wanted to know how well it holds up compared to everything else.
But thats the exact kind of artist im aiming to be, so thanks for your kind words

no problem.
the only other thing that bothers me is the start page... it seems like they're being phased out, as they're just extra work. if someone comes to your page, they came there because they were looking for it - you don't need a "welcome to my page, click here to enter" page.
other than that - it's awesome.

thanks for the comments!
i know what you mean about the title page.
i didnt want to include it, but resolutions < 1280 x 1024 dont have the title animation show up in the flash movie (they get a different version without it).
so if i didnt have a start page they wouldnt get a title at all!
i should really look at inplementing a better system for people with lower resolutions.
cheers

oh - that's an interesting way around that issue.
I wouldn't know of a better way to do that...

I really didn't like the sounds. I'd keep the sound muted by default, and allow the user to activate them. Imagine your user in a work environment and all of the sudden the sound of a chain-saw blast from their speakers!
But I thought the design was very cool!
