Heh, well, I've never been one for tutorials... I just always point people to the MySQL documentation (http://www.mysql.com). lol. Is there anything in specific you need help with?

Quite a bit of info can be found on MySQL at http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/MySQL, which includes a MySQL intro at http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/MySQL/Intro/page1.html.

I am not looking for anything specific, just the time came to face the music :)
I find it useful to ask people of what they prefer - some people have tried more than one way around and may suggest the better one, in their opinion..

thanx, guys,

Oh, yeah...
the recommendation of tested-tried-and-found-to-be-good printed publication would be appreciated, too.
