how did they do the opacity effect on the boxes?

I didnt take time to look, but that affect might be done when they made the graphics

anyways in css opacity

filter:alpha(opacity=10);-moz-opacity:.10;opacity:.10;"


Not always compatible with browsers
its at a 10% opacity so change it how u want

Looks like they just used transparent bg gif images overlayed on the simulated wooded planks.
