Here is my latest piece of work. I haven't checked it for validation yet but just wanted to see what opinions are. Beware it is very pink.

it's a nice site as far as design goes... just a few things I can point out.

I don't like the "SOON" thing... it's very pixelated and look amateurish. I'd probably rather see the link there as expected, and when clicking on it I'll get a 'coming soon' page.

i don't like the blue box on the contact page. the blue is out of nowhere for no reason - a little out of place.

and although it's pretty obvious which text is a link, i'd still like to see the link change on mouse over.

and that's it.

Oh - I also expected the main logo to take me to the home page, but it didn't. I usually have my sites do that, as most do.

good job with it though. it's really nice.

Not bad. Loads fast, validates. A bit pink but it works for the material presented. Good foreground-to-background contrast (text over background is easy to read).
Every page loads cleanly page-to-page (no discrepancies over container-widths, etc that would cause a 'shiver' or 'shift' of basic form).

Nice. :)

just a quick tip:

referring to the top links (latest news, about us, etc.)
if you add display:block to the 'a' tag, it will make the entire box the link as opposed to just the text.

ok firstly i am a yid and cannot wait to buy this so thats cool.

secondly kas shiel is HOT.

BUT now the nitty gritty - i like the site and the design, i think it wrks well. however, i think you need to make the links to the girls pics stand out more. i didnt realise for ages that their names were live links.
and yeh the ''soon'' at the top is pix elated.

other than that, good job

My dear,
work out on SEO things immediately... You don't have Meta Tags at all?! Not even a simple Title Tag??? That's most important thing in Search Engine Optimization story.
Title Tag tells to search engine a short description (in a few words) what is your site about... I mean, if you run pizzeria in the town, called "La Vita Bella" you will title your home page "Pizzeria - La Vita Bella - Best pizza in town". This way you ensure that search engine target your site as a search result when somebody request for Pizza, Best Pizza in town, Pizzeria, etc... Title tag is one of the first things that search engine will read.
Keyword META Tag is used by SE robots in order to establish sensible connection between search request and search result. It means basically, if Mike type into Google search bar a simple word "dinner" as a search request, and John, on the other side, has a website which tells, where can you have a good dinner in the town, by putting a word "dinner" in the Keyword Meta tag, SE robot will find John's website and provide it to Mike as a search results. That's why is very important that keywords, which are inside Keyword Meta tag, must be highly relevant with the content of your page. Another important thing si density of the keywords used in the page which should be between 4-8 % of total text in the page. Overuse of keywords, most SE robots defines as keyword forcing, which is one of the common SEO mistakes. Could be putted also in the anchor text links, alt text, headings, titles of the images, etc...
Sample: <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="keyword1, keyword2, keyword3...">
Description META Tag is used to display a short description, what's your website about, along with the title shown on the top of search result. If you check out Google SE, you will see that's only 2 lines of description shown below the title of
the result. It's usually about 15-20 words or about 160 characters including spaces between them. So, make sure that firs sentence, about 10 words, which describes clearly whole website, because that's what surfers usually read.
Sample: <META NAME="description" CONTENT="Put your description here.">
Robots Meta Tag is used to instruct SE robots how to crawl your website, in order to include or even exclude some pages, files or entire folders, which you don't like to be crawled. It helps also indexing your website at first time after submission to SE. For beginners is recommended to use this Meta tag in the mode which allows to crawl all subpages and links. Eventually you may modify this tag.
Sample: <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="FOLLOW,INDEX">

But design is ok... Colors are nice... Fast loading and everything is in function... Maybe a little more of content to add!
I even don't find ugly "SOON" thing, it's ok in my opinion.

Snooper just helped you out incredibly.

But <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="FOLLOW,INDEX"> is irrelevant to use, as follow, index is the default for most (all?) search engines.

and although keywords and description are generally ignored by most search engines, there's no harm in using them. Some search engines use the description tag, and I use meta keywords to keep track of the phrases i focus on for each page.

title tag, as snooper said is VERY important.

try to build more content too, and make keywords in your content and link to relevant pages. then build backlinks. read about SEO (google it) - it'll help a lot.

Thanks for all the good advice. More content will be added as the calendar progresses and we find a charity that will accept our money, who would have thought it would be hard to give money to charity.

Nice catch Snooper….. Think the site works fine but may want to upload better pics especially if you are going to be selling a calendar. Assume boys will be the majority of the buyers and if this is the case you may want to tone down the pink.
