Does anyone know of a means of gathering data on the number of hits a web site gets and then pulling off a report.

I know there are hit counters, but I'm interested in who is visiting my site, what pages they are looking at. Someone said that this could be done in java, but I have no coding experience, my site was put together with Net Objects which is drag and drop and fairly basic from what I can see.

Any help would be welcome

Thanks

Java is not JavaScript, just so you know.

If your host has AwStats, use that--you can track users' IP address, country, time they visited, amount of bandwidth they used, which page(s) they accessed and how long they were online.

Is there a site that has something already cosed that you can run ???

If you have paid for your hosting service, I suggest emailing your administrator and asking what server-side languages exist.

If you have a control panel, you should be able to login and find a "site statistics" area. Look through there, and you should find some sort of system that displays the information you want...
