I received an e-mail from one of my clients... with an e-mail he received offering SEO help. I have seen this SCAM before... these people have bogus sites crammed with 'backlinks' that DO generate alot of 'hits' to your site (provided you pay them the $$ they request), but the analytics are that they are 'redirects' to your site, and that they didn't intend to land there so they spend on average 'less than one minute" on your site!
-Don't be fooled, -this is probably a scam. The fact that the site built is now #2 on page #2 of Google for the SEARCH terms used, is a testiment that the site is gaining ranking, legitimate ranking. -Where were these people a year ago when the site was on page 36 or page 50-maybe? -We weren't a contender and not a good 'candidate' to be fleeced....
SEO: beware. Could this be legitmate? Yes, -it could be... but seriously I doubt it!
