honestly, i have had issues with GODaddy before. i Use HOSTMONSTER right now and they give a LOT more space, more security and they are cheaper.. Not to mention that their customer service is 24 hours and TOP NOTCH. they even helped me with a dreamweaver issue i was having even though its not their problem. they stayed on the phone with me when i FIRST started for an hour or more

you have to find out that information from the hosts. Transfer the domain and the files to go daddy. Call each hosts tech support to find out their exact requirements.

Godaddy.
I have all my sites with them.

One note:
All of your sites sit under the first domain you register with them.

So in your FTP client, they all look like subfolders of your main domain.
When you upload the first site, be sure to use a different name for the root folder than you will use on subsequent sites so that you don't accidentally over-write it!

EXAMPLE
Your root domain is dog.com
Make the homepage name: home.html

The next sites you create should never use home.html for a file name, but should use index.html

So when you upload the files for cat.com,
The homepage will be: index.html
When you upload mouse.com,
The homepage will be: index.html

NEVER home.html

Then you or one of your employees can never accidentally over-write the main site's homepage if they are never allowed to name a page "home.html" again. :-)

Got that?
:-)

Anyway, Godaddy has worked for me for a while and I am very pleased with the service. When there has been a problem it got fixed in a hurry.

Once, I had to call them for a domain transfer issue - it was Christmas Day and 3:00 a.m. in the USA - I got a smart IT guy on the phone to answer my questions! (I live overseas.)

I couldn't believe it!
After that, I said it will always be GoDaddy for me unless they start to drop the ball.
