okay i have this site, been testing on and learning more and more each day, but can't get a black colored back ground on firefox to show up on it when it shows up on IE7

You need to add a pound sign (#) before any HEX color (#000000)

thanks anyway i can change the color of the scroll bar colors? Only in IE6 and under, and an older version of OPERA. It is proprietary code. Mostly, for Accessibility, the people whom decide these things want to leave the 'chrome' or 'shell' out of the hands of inept designers whom think flamingo pink scrollbars with fuscia highlights/backgrounds are good color choices for what is essentially, a Accessibility navigation feature. Anyone that starts messing around with that could cause colorblind persons (that is 5-10% of the population) to not be able to see your scrollers at all, -thus, deny them content by obfuscating the means to navigate it.
Nevertheless, there ARE javascripts out there that can create a all-browser colored scrolling container, and even change the width of the scroller from the default 20px wide, and can even use an 'image' for the actual scroll-arrow.
I for one, don't wish to proliferate proprietary and exclusive/non-Accessible codes so I won't post 'the codes' for these, but you can SEARCH and find it. Using it will be your choice. :)
