Hi,
Time and time again i get clients who have spent a lot of money on there website and have had 100 hits in 2 years.
Shouldn't it be about ROI and not just a presence.
Shouldn't your site make you money. Your comments are welcomed.
see: www.designers-4-web.com and we have a web promotion section.

There are a lot of reasons for this...
Mainly it's because of the designer of the site, then it's the site's owners problem.
If you fail to promote your site in your own business then how will the site get traffic?
Another thing is site owners who do not use their domain email. If your a site owner and you still send out mail using your ISP address you should be shot and have your site and business taken away from you. Because your doing yourself a HUGE disservice.

Jordan,
I think you're preaching to the choir here. I agree entirely. What's the point if you don't have any traffic? But too many business people don't understand that they have to advertize their website, as well as their brick & mortar business. When done properly, the site will feed the business, & vice versa. Problem is, whoever sold them on the idea of a website in the first place, didn't educate them on how to make it pay off.
