RSS feed - how to bypass authentication ?

Hi Friends,
Can someone tell me how to setup an RSS feed on forums that are not open to guest users and requires authentication. Are there any RSS feed aggregrators that allow you to specify a username/password that they can use when fetching the feed data???

Rite now, i have forums open to registered members only and all my RSS feeds have stopped working as they cannot bypass the authentication mechanism.

Have you tried name:password@rss-feed-url?

What ray326 was referring to was probably something like:

http://username:password@example.com/feed/rss.php
or
https://username:password@example.com/feed/rss.php
