More people now understand that link exchange is crucial to getting traffic. Surely, the likes of google will think of another method to rank sites and drive traffic as more and more people are exchanging links. For example one site that i specifically know of had 1500 links. Do they use software to find linking partners or what?
Your views on link exchange are most welcomed.
We would like to hear from you if you are in the same/similar industry as us and would like to exchange links.

Hi,
ok i don't know everything about the patented google page rank and the algorithm used to calculate it but i will share what i know.
There is a lot of calculations going on when determining your page rank. Inbound and outbound links are included in the calculation. An inbound link to your page is said to be casting a vote on the page it links to. The percentage of weight this vote carries depends on the pagerank of the page the link comes from.
Example:
Page A has a pagerank of 5/10
Page A links to page B 1/2 percent goes towards page B's overall pagerank.
This is just an example and not true figures.
Say you have 100 inbound links this is good because each page will cast a vote on your page, but 100 inbound links with pagerank 1/10 will score you less than 10 inbound links with 7/10 pagerank.
Outbound links are a drain on your pagerank. To minimize the drain try to make sure the links are reciprocated.
For mare detailed explanations do a search on google for google pagerank and you will get lots of information.
Hope this helps

Just dont submit your links or affiliates page to google and you will be fine. How does google feel about iframes? I heard they really bleed on those and iframes and frames in general kill rank.
